Our client, a thriving student accommodation provider, is searching for a proactive and reliable Temporary Handyman to support their on-site team with day‑to‑day repairs and general maintenance. This assignment is expected to last for a month, with the potential to make a real impact from day one.

What you’ll be doing:

• Carrying out a range of reactive maintenance tasks to a high standard, including basic plumbing, joinery, carpentry, and occasional painting/decorating.
• Moving furniture and handling heavier items across the site as needed.
• Maintaining lighting, completing statutory checks, and ensuring safe, functional spaces.
• Responding effectively to health & safety issues.
• Keeping maintenance reports updated using electronic systems.
• Monitoring stock levels and notifying management when materials, tools, or equipment need replenishing.

What we’re looking for:

• Hands‑on experience within residential repairs/maintenance or a background in trades such as plumbing, electrical work, or carpentry.
• Handyman/Caretaker/Maintenance/Trade experience
• Someone equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
• A strong awareness of health & safety standards.
• A positive, can‑do attitude with good initiative.
• Friendly, helpful, and professional at all times.
