My client operates a premium competitive socialising venue in The City, bringing together high‑performance gaming, cinematic immersive experiences, craft cocktails and memorable group events. They are creating one of London’s most exciting social entertainment destinations—where elevated hospitality meets dynamic, interactive play.

The Role: Social Media & Sales Manager

We’re looking for a commercially minded creative to lead both our social media presence and sales performance. In this dual‑skill role, you’ll create compelling content that grows our online visibility while actively converting enquiries into bookings and driving new group and corporate business.

You will become the voice, personality and commercial engine behind XP Tavern’s growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Create and publish content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Build and manage a monthly content calendar
  • Develop shoot concepts, scripts and ideas
  • Film and edit high‑quality short‑form videos (Reels, TikToks)
  • Capture the venue’s atmosphere, gaming experiences, cocktails, food and events
  • Write engaging captions with strong calls to action
  • Analyse performance and refine strategy
  • Maintain a consistent visual identity and tone of voice

Reactive Sales & Booking Management

  • Manage all inbound enquiries (DMs, email, website and third‑party platforms)
  • Respond quickly and professionally to booking requests
  • Convert leads into confirmed bookings
  • Follow up on warm leads and pending enquiries
  • Handle communication for large group and corporate bookings
  • Liaise with operations to ensure seamless event delivery

Proactive Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new booking opportunities
  • Source and contact corporate clients, event planners and community groups
  • Maximise third‑party platforms (Tagvenue, Wonderdays, etc.)
  • Explore and build new partnership channels
  • Drive consistent revenue growth in line with monthly targets

Working Structure

This hybrid role combines office‑based work (2–3 days/week) with on‑site activity at the venue (2–3 days/week).
Evening work may occasionally be required for major events, launches or content shoots, with advance notice provided.

Our office is a short walk from the venue, making travel between both locations smooth and easy.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in hospitality, social media, events or venue sales
  • Strong experience creating short‑form video content
  • Confident using CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar editing tools
  • A commercial mindset with proven revenue‑driving ability
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Highly organised, fast‑responding and detail‑focused
  • Confident, professional and proactive communicator

Key KPIs

  • Monthly content output
  • Social media growth & engagement
  • Enquiry response time
  • Lead conversion rate
  • Revenue from group & corporate bookings
  • Performance of third‑party platforms

What We Offer

  • £35,000 base salary
  • Performance bonus
  • Free meal during shifts
  • Team discounts
  • The chance to shape the voice and commercial success of one of London’s most exciting competitive socialising venues
