Salary: £25k Salary- depending on experience

Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated person to join our small Corporate Services team providing support for member companies.

The role will support the Director of Corporate Services and Head of IT & Corporate Events in providing administration and events support.

Key tasks and responsibilities
Main duties will be to:-

  • Liaising with event venues and suppliers
  • Assist with sourcing suitable venues for events
  • Assist with sourcing event merchandise and corporate gifts
  • Assist with sponsorship liaison and admin
  • Assist with delegate and exhibition bookings
  • Assist with organisation of materials, exhibition equipment and logistics for couriers
  • Assist with payments and chasing non-payments where necessary
  • Liaison with conference organisers/AV
  • Staffing event receptions and providing guidance/assistance to attendees
  • Managing attendance including collating invite lists, managing responses and making name badges
  • Contribute to the overall work of the Corporate Services Team and conduct any other duties as required by the Director of Corporate Services and Head of IT & Corporate Services

Admin Support

  • Provide support for the Corporate Services team, including (but not limited to):
  • Book meetings
  • Book meeting rooms/catering for meetings (internal and external venues)
  • Book travel and hotels
  • Cover for reception/meeting room support as necessar
  • Person specification

Essential criteria:

  • Able to be flexible and adaptive; may need to travel for weekley / weekend events throughout the UK
  • Ability to handle high pressure environments
  • Ability to manage client relationships effectively
  • Strong organisational skills and takes responsibility for delivering expected outcomes on time and to standard
  • Effective communicator, both orally and in writing - including ability to draft papers, reports and industry responses.
  • Able to work independently as well as a team player
  • Must have a minimum of 1-2 years work experience
  • A minimum of 6-12 months administration experience
