Warehouse with Driving

Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30 (30 minutes lunch)

I am recruiting for a warehouse operative that has experience with driving.  The ideal candidate will be over 25 for insurances purposes with a maximum of 6 points but ideally a clean licence.

Experience within import / export is essential.  The successful candidate must be willing to train on a forklift (if don’t already have it) as well as x-ray screening

This role will be across both export and import warehouses as well as deliveries and collections in and around Heathrow (airline sheds) with possibilities of ad hoc collections/deliveries when required in other areas.

Due to the nature of the business the successful candidate must be able to complete 5 Year reference and DBS checks and Cargo Operative training and provide proof of right to work in the UK.

The role:

Working across import, export and fulfilment warehouses, with duties including (but not limited to) picking and packing, shipment processing, bagging and labelling and administrative/computer based tasks

General warehouse duties

Collecting both courier and cargo shipments for airport sheds (must have a Full UK Driving Licence)

General administration/filing in all warehouses

Generate and maintain strong communication lines with other departments

Maintaining high levels of attention to detail in all tasks

General housekeeping and maintaining high level of Health and safety.

Ability to prioritise workload based on time sensitive deadlines

Team player with a collaborative attitude

An individual with a genuine desire to grow their skillset

Health and safety accidents/incidents/near miss to be reported your line manager.

Forklift duties (training to be provided if needed)

General maintenance of vehicles and equipment – e.g. clean and tidy vans/monthly inspections/forklift checks.

All ad hoc duties as required

Experience

Previous experience within an import & export warehouse

Able to work different shift if required

Full UK Driving Licence (Over 25 for Insurance Purposes Only)

Exposure to completing Export Customs entries
