My client, one of the largest pathology laboratories in Europe are currently recruiting for a Supplies Distribution driver to provide high quality, proactive and professional delivery service for the Laboratories Warehouse Team. This job requires a full UK driving license, and it is the employee’s responsibility to maintain and adhere to the highway code and legalities of driving

Duties include:

• To provide an efficient and effective service to company premises in line with department ‘best practice’ and ensure compliance to relevant policies and procedures.
• To deliver reports, supplies and important goods to clients at their premises.
• To adhere to all communication procedures whilst carrying out duties.
• To process paperwork accurately and efficiently in line with departmental policy and set procedures.
• To ensure all duties are carried out in line with the Courier Procedure Manual.

To be considered for this role you must possess:

A good standard of education

Experience of working within delivery in or around London, or healthcare field

Experience of driving vans and offloading deliveries from cages

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Numerate

Flexible, highly motivated, effective team player

Clean driving licence
